Takami Nakamoto and Noemi Schipfer,

live and work in Paris.

They develop audiovisual art installations. They know about "Mixed Media Art".

Creators of captivating and dreamlike universes, Noemi Schipfer and Takami Nakamoto form together the NONOTAK Studio, since the end of 2011. It is following a collaboration commissioned by the architect Bigoni-Mortemard to create a mural in the hall of a building in Paris that they decided to link their talents and launch this great project.

NARCISSE, 2016

She is an illustrator specializing in kinetic visuals, and is an architect and musician. They imagine, strong of their complementarity, immersive and total installations, with complex and minimal sound proposals, which perfectly envelop the spectator in an almost magic, bright and vibrant space. All of which always invite you to travel to the new and the unknown, with emotions and sensations as "spiritual" guides.

Among their wide range of works, each as incredible and wonderful as the other, Moments! has chosen to present Narcisse, filmed during a residency at Le Cube (Issy Les Moulineaux), in January 2016. It is a supernatural kinetic sculpture inspired by the Greek mythological character Narcisse, who falls in love with his own reflection. The sculpture is thus composed of square mirrors which are agitated and animated to the rhythm of a grandiose, electronic and grave soundtrack, reflecting a light towards a canvas stretched above the machine, on which sparkling beams emerge. The work with reference, can be to their own success and love for their art, is treated with relevance, originality and thoroughness. So many qualifiers that match them perfectly.

Nonotak Studio, since 2013, enjoys increased recognition, and has been commissioned by the Geneva Mapping Festival, the EM15 ELEKTRA / MUTEK in Montreal, the Nuit Blanche (Paris), Roppongi Art Night (Tokyo), Axcess Art Gallery (NY), among many other large-scale events. Their work has been exhibited in institutions and galleries including the Grant Hyatt Hotel (Tokyo), the Lyon Opera, the Geneva Contemporary Art Building, etc.
