Born in 1981, lives and works in Brazil. She is a motion designer artist. It belongs to the current "Mixed Media Art".

Searching for the expansion of the senses, Anaisa Franco creates interfaces that artistically elaborate an “affective” situation where people expand their senses through the interaction with the sculptures, creating new forms, relationships and experiences between people, the subjects chosen and the technological material that we have available in the market.

Moments! Q&A

The moment it all started?

When I was a kid around 7 years old during modeling ceramics classes. It was sublime the experience of transforming the material into desired sculptural forms.

The moment you discovered an artist who inspired you?

When walking at the Millenium Park in Chicago and see all the amazing public art as the Crown Fountain by Jaume Plensa, the Cloud Gate by Anish Kapoor and the Jay Pritzker Pavilion by Frank Gerry.

A memorable moment of your career?

The opening day of Heart of the city in Sydney on 22 of May, which was the b-day of my mom and she and my brother was there with me.

The perfect moment to create?

There are no perfect moments for me. Ideas generally come when traveling by train, reading books, sleeping, meditating, etc.

The most inspiring cultural moment?

Artist retrospectives in Museums are the most! It is where you can really see the trajectory of the artist and the process that leads the creation of an entire body of work. I loved the retrospective of Annete Messenger. The Messengers at Mori Art Museum in Tokyo and

the retrospective of Joana Vasconcelos at the Guggenheim in Bilbao, which is per si an architectural piece of art.

The moment you dream of?

The day I will create and execute a permanent interactive public artwork.

If you want an installation of this artist in your company, do not hesitate to contact us via the form or by e-mail.
